Enlarged plenary meetings of the Pyongyang municipal and provincial committees of the Workers' Party of Korea were held between the 12th and the 14th to implement the decisions of the Tenth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK.
Present at the meetings were members and alternate members of the provincial Party committees. Also on hand as observers were officials of the local Party and government organs and administrative and economic institutions.
The meetings comprehensively analyzed and summed up the work for the implementation of the decisions of the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee in the first half of the year and discussed and decided on the practical issues for making a remarkable progress in the development of regions and units by thoroughly carrying out the guidelines of struggle clarified at the Tenth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee.
Reports and speeches were made. Supplementary decisions were adopted with unanimous approval amid high enthusiasm of the participants to provide a reliable guarantee to the implementation of the Party decisions in their regions, fields and units with boundless devotion and persistent executive ability.
