Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- Meetings took place at different units in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK to mark the 70th anniversary of the field guidance by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il. Present there were Han Yong Song and Kim Jong Sop, secretaries of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials and working people of relevant units. Reports were made there. The reporters said that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il gave field guidance to many units in the province, including the Chongjin Steel Plant, the Myonggan Chemical Factory, the Chongjin Slate Factory and the Chongjin Fishery Station, in July Juche 43 (1954). They noted that relevant units have made many successes by giving full play to the spiritual power of the masses, regarding the work for glorifying the leadership exploits of the Party as the main line. They called upon the officials and employees to display the honor of units associated with leadership exploits and fulfill their responsibility and duties in the work for developing the country's economy and improving the people's standard of living.
