The Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea gave a reception at the Pyongyang Koryo Hotel on Tuesday evening in honor of Maxim Vladimirovich Rizhenkov, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus, on an official visit to the DPRK.
The Foreign Minister of Belarus and his party were invited to the reception.
Present there were the DPRK Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui and officials of the Foreign Ministry.
Speaking at the reception, Choe Son Hui warmly welcomed Foreign Minister Maxim Vladimirovich Rizhenkov and his party who came to Pyongyang with the mission to develop the relations between the two countries onto a new stage. She said it is a firm stand of the government of the DPRK to open new annals of development of bilateral relations by comprehensively expanding and strengthening the relations with the Republic of Belarus aspiring after the common ideal and purpose.
Addressing the reception, Foreign Minister Maxim Vladimirovich Rizhenkov said he visited Pyongyang with a will to further consolidate the friendly relations between Belarus and the DPRK with a long tradition and expressed deep thanks for the warm hospitality accorded to them.
He manifested his stand to develop in depth the relations between the two countries His Excellency Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, and Comrade Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the DPRK, pay deep attention to, on the basis of mutual trust, respect and understanding.
