Meetings took place in Algeria, Denmark, Sweden and Italy to denounce the US policy of hostility toward the DPRK on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-US joint struggle.

Speeches were made at the meetings attended by political and public figures and other people of relevant countries.

Speakers exposed the aim of the start of the Korean war by the US imperialists, their shameful defeat and barbarous atrocities committed by the American cannibals and strongly demanded the US drop its anachronistic policy of hostility toward the DPRK.

The chairman of the Algeria-Korea Friendship Association condemned and rejected the US hostile moves against the DPRK which have been perpetrated most viciously century after century, branding the US as the provoker of the Korean war and aggressor, and fully supported the anti-imperialist and anti-US struggle of the Korean people.

The chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association and the chief of the Danish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said that under the outstanding leadership of President Kim Il Sung, iron-willed brilliant commander, the Korean people defeated the US imperialists, the chieftain of imperialism, for the first time in history and defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country and nation. The myth of the US imperialists'  "mightiness" was shattered in the Korean war, they noted.

They said that the US forces stationed on the Korean peninsula are the root cause of war and evil, demanding the US government withdraw them without delay.

The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association said that the defeat in the Korean war was the first defeat of the US imperialists in their history and it led to their successive defeats in the 1960s and 1970s. The US imperialists should withdraw their aggression forces and military hardware from the Korean peninsula and immediately drop their policy of hostility toward the DPRK, he added.

Personages of the Communist Party of Italy, the Italian Movement for Peace and Socialism and the secretary general of the European Regional Society for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the DPRK has turned into a world-class military power with tremendous nuclear deterrent under the wise guidance of Comrade Kim Jong Un. They called for giving wide publicity to the reality of the DPRK among the people and conducting more positive activities to express support to and solidarity with the struggle of the Korean people, while revealing the danger of the US war moves.

Meanwhile, a protest demonstration was staged outside the puppet ROK embassy in London with personages of various political parties and organizations including the New Communist Party of Britain and the British-Korea Friendship Association and other people in attendance on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-US joint struggle.
