The working people and technicians of the complex put efforts to researching rational methods for running the oxygen heat blast furnace and advanced smelting methods, and energetically launched the socialist emulation for increasing the iron and steel production.

The officials and working people of the Chollima Steel Complex made collective innovations while prioritizing the provision of raw and other materials and strengthening the inter-shift and inter-unit cooperation.

Those of the Musan Mining Complex hastened the iron ore production on the basis of significant success in earth removal by displaying fighting spirit under the banner of self-reliance.

Similar successes were witnessed at the Posan Iron Works, the Chongjin Steel Plant, the Unryul and Jaeryong mines.

The working people of the coal industry sector overfulfilled their production by 103% from the beginning of the second half of the year through the socialist patriotic movement for increased coal production.

The coalminers of every coal mining complex directed efforts to securing new coal deposits displaying the spirit of collectivism under the slogan "One for All and All for One!"

As a result of their efforts, many tunneling units fulfilled their national economic plan for July ahead of schedule.

In the process, several mining complexes including the youth coal mining complexes in Sunchon and Pukchang areas increased their production, thus ensuring the successive development of major national economy sectors and units.

Regarding Improvement of Quality as Main Link

Officials and working people in the machine-building industry sector fulfilled their national economic plans for July by directing primary efforts to improving quality.

The officials of the Ryongsong Machine Complex built up the modern control system at the processing equipment and thus put the accuracy of finishing onto a higher stage, keeping deep in their mind the great trust of the Central Committee of the great Workers’ Party of Korea which puts them forward as the creators of the new spirit of the times.

Those of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, too, directed big efforts to the technical transformation and recovery of original performance of large-size equipment so as to make definite progress in improving the quality of the custom-built equipment.

The Ryangchaek Bearing Factory settled the technical problems by itself arising in ensuring the product-processing accuracy and boosted the bearing production by positively introducing advanced working methods.

Besides, the working class of several units including the Anju Pump Factory, the Songchongang Electric Appliances Factory and the Hamhung Youth Electric Appliances Factory set an example in carrying out the national economic plans.

Those in the building-materials industrial sector put spurs to the struggle for increased production and creation with the improvement of quality, mindful of the importance of their duty in translating our Party’s construction plan into reality.

The Sangwon and Sunchon cement complexes and the Chonnaeri Cement Factory have carried out their daily production plans without fail while raising the quality of refractory and thoroughly observing the mixing proportion of raw materials.

The Taean Friendship Glass Factory, Osoksan Granite Mine and other units also kindled the fierce flames of performing new miracles by manufacturing the efficient and modern apparatuses and positively introducing advanced experiences.

By Giving Precedence to Strengthening and Mobilizing Technical Force

Various units in the chemical industrial sector have also fulfilled their national economic plan for July.

Among them are the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, the February 8 Vinalon Complex and the Ponghwa Chemical Factory which fulfilled their production plan for July while relying on their own talents force and giving precedence to technical innovation for heightening the capacity of equipment.

Working class in the electric-power industry conducted vigorous mass-based technical innovation movement with firm will to produce more electricity, thus fulfilling their national economic plan.

Officials, workers and technicians of various mining industrial units including the Unpha Mine and the Munphyong Smeltery actively pushed ahead with the production while pooling their creative wisdom and introducing rational work methods.
