Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- The Choljuk-brand socks of the DPRK are associated with the love of the great father for the people.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory on August 6, Juche 103 (2014) to indicate the issue of steadily improving the color and pattern of hosiery in keeping with the developing reality and the people’s liking and other issues arising in improving the quality of hosiery and putting the production on a normal footing.
In order to produce quality hosiery whose practicality and aesthetic value are guaranteed, the workers of the factory have introduced more than 200 proposals of technical innovation and produced dozens of kinds of new goods.
The technical group of the factory has increased the color of hosiery to more than 60 kinds, steadily improved its designs, introduced new techniques into dyeing process and thus provided a scientific and technological guarantee for improving quality.
Amid the elated enthusiasm of all officials and employees, the expanded hosiery varieties increased to over 500 and the national economic plan was overfulfilled.
