Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- The art squad of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) gave a performance at the Jangchon Hall of Culture in Sadong District, Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, on August 13 to celebrate the 79th anniversary of national liberation.
Among the audience were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, officials of the UAWK and agricultural workers in the capital city.
The performance began with chorus "Dear Father". Put on the stage were mixed chorus, poem story, agitation and ensemble of instrumental music and other colorful numbers.
The performers sang high praises of the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung , an ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander and peerless patriot who defeated the brigandish Japanese imperialists and achieved the historic cause of national liberation through a bloody and arduous anti-Japanese war, thus saving the destiny of the country and people.
The atmosphere was revved up amid the display of numbers reflecting the ardent reverence of all the people for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is translating into a proud reality on this land the patriotic desire of the peerlessly great men for building a powerful country.
The performance ended with choral poem recitation and chorus "We Will Go to Mt Paektu" and "We Will Defend General Kim Jong Un with Our Lives". -0-
