Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Greetings from Russian President

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greetings from Comrade V. Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on August 13.
The message reads as follows:
Esteemed Comrade Kim Jong Un ,
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on the occasion of your national holiday, the Liberation Day.
Our two countries are paying tribute to the soldiers of the Red Army and the Korean patriots who fought shoulder to shoulder for Korea’s liberation.
What is important is that the bonds of friendship and mutual assistance consolidated in those days of the grim war still serve as a reliable basis for the development of good neighbourly relations between our two countries.
I believe that the thorough implementation of the agreements reached at the recent talks held in Pyongyang will continue to promote the expansion of the reciprocal cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
This fully conforms to the interests of the two peoples and will contribute to ensuring the regional stability and security.
I wish you good health and success and all the citizens of the DPRK happiness and prosperity.
Please accept the assurances of my consideration.
