A men's football match between the April 25 Team and the Amnokgang Team was held at Kim Il Sung Stadium on the 8th on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
It was watched by Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the SPA of the DPRK, and senior officials of the Party and the government.
Also seeing the match were labour innovators who contributed to the campaign for attaining the 12 major goals of the national economic development, meritorious persons, officials and service personnel of the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Public Security, officials of the Cabinet, ministries and national agencies, teaching staff and students of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and the Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School and Pyongyang citizens.
The spectators included veteran cadres who had worked at important posts of the Party, the government and the military for a long time.
In the match, the April 25 Team defeated the Amnokgang Team 3:1.
