Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- The Intellectual Property Office in the DPRK is stepping up the preparations for the 2024 intellectual property development exhibition at the final stage. The organizing committee for the exhibition has carried on the preparations in touch with at least 100 ministries and national agencies and provinces. Presented to the exhibition will be more than 2 600 proposals of over 640 units, which were granted patent rights, invention rights, trademark rights, industrial design rights, name of origin and geographical representation rights, copyright and rights to new species of plants. The identification of exhibits among various categories of intellectual property protection objects was concluded. The work is going on to build data at the virtual exhibition hall, set up a section for the formation of exhibition-in-kind and confirm the mode of exhibition.
