Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- The General Association of Koreans in China (GAKC) and its affiliated organizations held events to celebrate the 76th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
On September 9, floral baskets in the names of the GAKC, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China, the Beijing City branch of the Zhongnan Regional Association, the Dandong City branch of the Liaoning Regional Association and the Jilin City branch of the Jilin Regional Association under the GAKC and the family of Hwang Baek Ha, a Korean in China related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, were laid before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin and the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and art works depicting them at the DPRK missions in Beijing, Shenyang and Dandong.
Chairwoman Choe Un Bok and officials of the GAKC headquarters and its regional associations and other Koreans in China paid tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il , founder and builder of the DPRK, socialist Korea, and the benevolent father of overseas Koreans.
A film show of the GAKC took place in Shenyang of China.
Present there were Chairwoman Choe Un Bok and other officials of the GAKC headquarters and members of the Shenyang City branch of the Liaoning Regional Association.
The participants watched a Korean film dealing with part of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un 's sacred history of revolutionary leadership.
There took place such celebration events as meeting, photo and book exhibition and film show at the Beijing City branch of the Zhongnan Regional Association and Yanbian, Jilin and Mudanjiang regional associations and other affiliated organizations of the GAKC. -0-
