Meetings were held in Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Kazakhstan and Mexico on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Speeches were made at the meetings attended by political and public figures and other people of the given countries.
The Deputy Director General of the General Political Department of the Laotian People's Army said the DPRK has achieved great successes in bolstering up the defence capabilities, economic development and improvement of the people's living under the leadership of Comrades Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un for 76 years since its founding.
Senators of Pakistan and personages of the Awami National Party of Pakistan, the Labour Union of Pakistan and the Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee noted that the founding of the DPRK was, indeed, a great historic event and that the prosperity, glory and dignity of the DPRK are associated with the august names of great President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who turned it into an invincible socialist state. They stressed that the DPRK will demonstrate only victory and glory under the energetic leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
A member of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar Journalist Association dwelt upon the proud history of victory of the DPRK and emphasized that it will surely attain the goal of building a prosperous and powerful country thanks to the outstanding leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un.
The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, the Chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, the Chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, the Chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association and the Chairman of the Finland-Korea Society spoke highly of the immortal exploits performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the founding, strengthening and development of the DPRK.
Messages of greetings to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings held in Pakistan, Denmark and Sweden.
