Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- Political parties, organizations and institutions of Russia, including the Party for Peace and Unity, the Amur Regional Branch Committee and the Khabarovsk Territorial Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea in Tynda City, the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All-Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity" and the Far East State Science Library, held meetings, seminars and other events on September 6-9 to celebrate the 76th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Speeches were made at the events attended by personages and masses of relevant units.
The chairperson of the Party for Peace and Unity praised the whole life of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung , founder of the DPRK, as a noble devoted life for the people.
The reality of the prospering DPRK would have been unthinkable without the exploits of Comrade Kim Jong Il , the great general, the chairperson said, stressing:
Thanks to Comrade Kim Jong Un 's distinguished leadership, the DPRK has made rapid progress in recent years, demonstrating its might as an independent power admired by the whole world.
The first secretary of the Amur Regional Branch Committee and the first secretary of the Khabarovsk Territorial Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that Korea, once a weak colony, has developed into a full-fledged strategic state with a solid foundation of the independent national economy and the tremendous military muscle. This is a clear proof that the desire of Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for building a powerful country is being translated into a brilliant reality thanks to Comrade Kim Jong Un , they stressed.
Personages of the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea in Tynda City and the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All-Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity" elaborated on the birth of the DPRK, saying that it brought about lots of political, economic and social transformations in Korea.
Congratulatory messages to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events.
Meanwhile, a lecture was given by the Group for International Solidarity with the DPRK on September 7 to mark the 76th birthday of the DPRK. -0-
