Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Monday in an editorial says that the agricultural sector is faced with the important and responsible task to unconditionally attain the goal of grain production, the primary one of economic construction this year, by making high-yielding successes.
All the officials and working people should turn out as one in harvesting and threshing, bearing in mind that the present is an important and responsible period for defending Korean-style socialism and promoting the prosperity and development of the country, the editorial says, and goes on:
What is basic in successfully finishing farming is to conclude harvesting and threshing at the right time.
It is necessary to push ahead with harvesting, threshing and procurement in a three-dimensional way.
Harvesting, threshing and procurement should be conducted simultaneously as soon as ears ripen by using various threshers on a large scale so as to ensure that the crop estimate leads to a real one.
The officials in the agricultural sector should work hard transcending the ability and limitation to successfully attain the goal of grain production, bearing deep in mind that the fate of this year's farming hinges on their shoulders.
