Become Creators and Pioneers of New Technology

In March, Juche 103(2014), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected a factory.

Making rounds of the factory to learn about its production, he said with satisfaction that the achievements the factory had made in production were attributable to its keeping science and technology ahead of production and solving all the matters by dint of science and technology.

The officials were wrapped in excitement, looking up to him highly appreciating them who had just done their due duty.

The respected General Secretary learnt about the great achievements they had made in the research and development of new products by actively adopting cutting-edge science and technology.

That day, he noted that the Party had high expectations for the workers of the factory and expressed conviction that they would all become creators and pioneers of new technology and perform miracles and feats.

Bearing his noble intention in their minds, the officials keenly realized that when they all become sci-tech talents can they make a leap forward in their work and the country will make progress that much more.

Why He Was So Pleased

One year, the respected General Secretary inspected a machine factory.

He dropped in at the sci-tech learning space and praised that it had been built in line with the Party’s intention.

He expressed satisfaction at the fact that the technical and skill level of scientists, technicians and workers could be incessantly raised and their horizons be broadened as the sci-tech learning space had formed a network system with several scientific research institutions and famous universities for getting access to up-to-date sci-tech data on a normal basis

However, the officials couldn’t fully understand why he was so pleased at the sci-tech learning space until then.

Presently, he made rounds of the factory and said that scientific research must be given definite priority in order to normalize production and improve the product quality. He set the goals which must be attained by the factory in the research and development of machine products and clarified the ways of research work.

Then he stressed in earnest that they had to build the think tank well and thus strengthen the sci-tech force.

Only then did the officials realize that the respected General Secretary was so satisfied to see a well-arranged sci-tech learning space because powerful sci-tech force is a precious foundation and asset guaranteeing the long-term and development-oriented success.

That day, the officials hardened their will to consolidate the factory’s own sci-tech force and make greater achievements on that basis.
