Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK is striving to implement the Workers' Party of Korea's Regional Development 20×10 Policy.
Officials of its party and power organs direct efforts to securing raw materials needed for the normal operation of new regional-industry factories. They have intensified the technical guidance and review to raise the per-hectare yield of crops.
They are conducting the work for creating raw material bases according to the yearly plan to be suitable to the conditions of cultivation in each region while putting efforts to improving the technical and skill levels of working people so that they can correctly select seeds according to the soil and field conditions and make effective use of the scientific methods of manuring and cultivating them.
Employees of the Jangphung County Raw Materials Base Station and the Jangphung County Foodstuff Factory overfulfilled their plans for securing raw materials this year by directing efforts to improving the fertility of soil. The county has taken measures to eliminate the deterioration of grain by introducing scientific methods of storing and managing it and secure and use processing equipment.
Kaephung and Phanmun districts are striving to build raw material bases and train technicians and skilled workers. -0-
