Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- The red flag of the great Workers' Party of Korea with hammer, sickle and writing brush inscribed is fluttering over the sky of the DPRK greeting October 10, its birthday.
Looking at the WPK flag, the Korean people call it "flag of our Party", the banner of advance always guiding them to victory in any adversity and the beacon of destiny that will be followed generation after generation.
The flag of the WPK is kept deep in the minds of all the people in the country.
This flag, a symbol of the great WPK which has the longest history as a socialist ruling party, is now recognized as the most prestigious flag in the world.
It is shining red, thanks to the revolutionary faith with which the WPK has advanced straight and steadily along the road of socialism and communism and to the epochal miracles performed by it.
The flag of the WPK carries the strong might of turning into reality the ideal and goal for a thriving country with a strong army even under the worst conditions.
It represents the great dignity and strength of our state and people as it is giving them the pride of their course and confidence and optimism about the future.
To the Korean people, the WPK flag is the warm bosom of the great mother who reliably defends and takes care of their dignity and destiny.
It is getting redder with the sweat and blood of the people who devote themselves to the country and the revolution, and the hammer, sickle and writing brush inscribed in it are shining with their unyielding heroic struggle and feats.
The true nature of the WPK flag protecting the destiny and future of the people will remain unchanged, and victory and prosperity of the great people will be always inscribed in this red flag under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un . -0-
