Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK on Thursday dedicate editorials to the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
With the founding of the WPK, the great and excellent people with strong self-respect and creativity have been born and a dynamic leap forward toward a powerful country where the people had long cherished in their 5 000-year history was achieved thanks to them, and the years of legendary miracles and epoch-making entities have appeared on this land, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on:
To invariably and steadily carry forward the sacred first page with the accumulation of history and exploits is a guarantee for the invincibility of a revolutionary party and a law of power.
The WPK is great in its founding and the whole history of its development is proud and glorious.
It is President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who founded the WPK, a powerful vanguard unit of the Korean revolution, and laid an eternal foundation for its development.
Thanks to the wise guidance of the President and the Chairman who always attached importance to the guiding role of the Party in the revolution and construction and always paid primary attention to its development, the WPK could make a steady advance and victory only along the peculiar track of its development, while solving the issue of Party building originally from its starting point.
The WPK is now demonstrating its dignity and might as an invincible guiding force successfully carrying forward the great foundation and ever-victorious history as it is led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
Thanks to the unique ideas and theories and energetic leadership specified by Kim Jong Un in the days of Party building characterized by the combination of thorough succession and fresh innovations, the WPK could fully display its guiding ability and leadership ability while perfectly carrying out the urgent tasks to maintain the road of socialism and lead the development of the times, despite the manifold challenges and difficulties.
