Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- An evening gala of youth and students and a firework display took place at Kim Il Sung Square in the capital city of Pyongyang on October 10 to celebrate the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The evening gala began amid the playing of the song "The Mother's Birthday".
The young people danced to the tune of songs such as "Our Leader Loved by People" and "Glory to Our Great Party".
Singing songs praising the Party, the participants continued dancing with joy and optimism with which they are glorifying the most precious days of their life under the benevolent care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un .
The venue for the evening gala was filled with the revolutionary spirit of the passionate youths to work hard to implement the Party's decision with youthful enthusiasm and mettle.
Fireworks were set off and the song "Song of Youth" played amid the cheerful dance.
The night sky of October was alight with fireworks of various shapes, and the square was full of joy of youth and students and citizens marking the auspicious holiday. -0-
