International bodies and many foreign political parties, personages, and overseas families related to the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung and Korean residents in China sent flower baskets to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang on the occasion of the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

They included the Board of Directors of the International Martial Arts Foundation, the central committee of a political party of Tunisia, the chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany, Lorenzo Edu Monsuy Angue, member of the National Council of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, the deputy general director for tourism of the Presidential Office of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, an advisor of the Equatorial Guinean Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Fisheries and Environment, Tian Yuanshuang, manager of the Shandong provincial Rizhao Fengchuan international mining trade Co. Ltd. of China, families of Ryang Song Ryong, Pak Kil Song, Kim Chol and Hwang Paek Ha, China-resident Koreans related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the family of Kim Sun Ok related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the families of Chai Shiying, Chen Lei and Jie Qing, Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, Kim Kum Ja, Hyon Chun Ok and Ryang Kum Hae, members of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, Phyo Song Ryong, chairman of the Association of Korean Businessmen in China, Kil Kyong Gap, chairman of the Association of Korean Nationals in Shenyang City of China, Sim Chong Song, chairperson of the Association of Korean Nationals in Dandong City of China, the family of Choe Su Jin, a Korean resident in China, Manager Ri Hwang and Deputy Manager Ri Kil of the Jiangshan Co. Ltd., the family of Jin Yongkuan, general manager of the Beijing Jinchuan Power Science and Technology Co. Ltd. of China, Piao Shanhu, general manager of Dandong Huixing Economic Trading Co. Ltd. of China, Choe Kol, general manager of the Sobaeksu Culture Proliferation Co. Ltd. in Liaoning Province of China, Gui Aishun, general manager of Dandong Shunsheng Trading Co. Ltd of China, Li Chengxue, general manager of the Chengbao Trade Co. Ltd. in Dandong of China, Lu Yongzhe, general manager of the Juncheng Shijia Management and Consultation (Beijing) Co. Ltd. of China, and An Pingnan, representative of the Tianjin Jiujiang Trade Co. Ltd.

The flower baskets  were laid at the statues on October 9.

On the same day, members of the home-visiting group of students in their final year at Korea University of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan and Choe Ryong Ho, deputy rector of Pyongyang University of Science and Technology, placed flower baskets at the statues of the great leaders.
