There were a gala evening of youth and students and fireworks display at Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang on October 10 in celebration of the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The event started with the singing of the song “Mother’s Birthday”
Youth and students spread a sea of dances to the tune of such songs as “Our Leader Beloved of People” and “Glory to Our Great Party”.
Singing hymns to the Party together, the participants danced circle dances with the joy of spending the most fulfilling period in life in the benevolent embrace of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, full of optimism.
As lively dances were performed in succession, fireworks went off in the sky over the square and the “Song in Praise of Youth” reverberated through the venue, enlivening the gala.
All kinds of fireworks exploded continuously to light up the nocturnal sky of October and the venue of the celebration brimmed with the delight of youth, students and citizens spending the happy holiday.
