Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- An agreement on cooperation in the field of post and telecommunications, information technology and digital development between the DPRK Ministry of IT Industry and the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Post and Telecommunications and Public Information was signed here on Wednesday.
Present at the signing ceremony from the DPRK side were Vice-Minister of IT Industry Jang Yong Gil and officials concerned, and from the opposite side members of the Russian delegation for DPRK-Russia IT products exhibition led by Andrei Zarenin, vice-minister of Digital Development, Post and Telecommunications and Public Information, and Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK.
Jang Yong Gil and Andrei Zarenin signed the agreement.
Then a working-level meeting was held to implement the agreement.
Meanwhile, Minister of IT Industry Ju Yong Il met and had a talk with the Russian delegation led by Andrei Zarenin on the same day. -0-
