Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Friday dedicates an editorial to its 79th founding anniversary.
The founding of the organ of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea provided a powerful weapon leading the modeling of the whole society on the monolithic idea and made it possible to victoriously advance the revolution with the power of pen, the editorial notes, and goes on:
Rodong Sinmun always stands in the vanguard of the revolutionary cause of Juche led by the ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea.
It is the recorder of the history of the WPK which is steadily carrying forward the original ideal and spirit of its founding and each issue of the Party paper shows the history of leadership of the dignified and prestigious Party which has recorded the longest ruling history.
Rodong Sinmun has always become the companion of the Party in every period and at every stage of the revolution and construction and has covered the glorious road of carrying out the cause of the Party, breathing the same air with it.
It is just Rodong Sinmun that has always defended the Party Central Committee in the vanguard as a good educator, bold disseminator and faithful mouthpiece in carrying out the Party's revolutionary cause.
Rodong Sinmun is ushering in a new heyday of its development under the guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un .
It is a precious fruition of the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary that the Party paper has defended and glorified through generations the honor of being the ideological mouthpiece proving the originality, validity, scientific accuracy and vitality of the Party's ideas, lines and policies with immutable truth, the first standard-bearer who consolidates the socialist ideological position as an impregnable fortress by fully implanting the faith in sure victory, indomitable will and bold courage in the minds of all the people, and the sharp treasured sword that dispirits the enemies through a powerful media campaign.
