Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Municipal Meeting of Young Activists in Noble Traits took place at the Central Youth Hall in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, on Oct. 31.
Present there were Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league, activists who have distinguished themselves in displaying noble traits, and youth and students.
A report was made at the meeting to be followed by speeches.
The reporter and speakers said that the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un has led the young people to grow up to be creators of miracles and feats and masters of virtue and traits in the struggle to open up a new phase of development for national rejuvenation.
They said that young people in the capital city are displaying the beautiful deeds of volunteering to work at the difficult and labor-consuming worksites and devoting themselves to society, the collective and comrades with pure loyalty supporting the Party and noble outlook on life.
They referred to the deeds of young people in the field of public health who devoted their blood, flesh and sincerity to the patients in critical conditions and those who became the flesh and blood and the lifelong companions of war veterans and disabled soldiers and showed affection and love to the disabled students.
They said that a large contingent of reliable young people is stoutly growing up to shoulder the future of the country with noble communist virtue. They added that it is a proud fruition of the Workers' Party of Korea's idea of valuing the youth and its policy of prioritizing the youth and a clear demonstration of its vitality.
The reporter and speakers called upon all the young people to fulfill their honorable mission as successors to the revolution and new generation in the worthwhile struggle to usher in a new era of national rejuvenation as befitting the young vanguard in the great era of Kim Jong Un . -0-
