Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Central-level hospitals in the DPRK are directing efforts to disseminating and generalizing advanced diagnosis and treatment methods across the country.
At the South Phyongan and North Hwanghae provincial general hospitals, medical workers of the Kim Man Yu Hospital organized technical consultative meetings on operation to help medical workers acquire high theoretical and practical ability and keen sense capable of coping with accidental situation that might occur during operation.
Medical workers of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital helped doctors of the North Phyongan and South Hwanghae provincial maternity hospitals and Nampho Municipal Maternity Hospital make a correct diagnosis of abnormal symptoms that occur frequently among pregnant women and take effective measures for treatment.
Doctors of the Kangwon Provincial General Hospital and the North and South Hamgyong provincial dental hospitals have introduced advanced treatment methods into the treatment of cataract and dental treatment in close cooperation with medical workers of the Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital and the General Dental Hospital under the Ministry of Public Health.
The Koryo Medicine General Hospital disseminated effective Koryo treatment methods for various diseases, including lumbar disc herniation, gonitis and scoliosis, thus contributing to improving the skills of medical workers at the North Hamgyong, South Hamgyong and Ryanggang provincial Koryo medicine hospitals. -0-
