The "DPRK-Russia IT Goods Exhibition--2024" came to a close.
The exhibition introduced goods of advanced technology and sci-tech achievements such as software (system and application), information security, information communication, digital technology and industrial information device developed at the educational and scientific research units and enterprises in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation.
Its closing ceremony was held at the Sci-Tech Complex on October 31.
Present there were Ju Yong Il, Minister of IT Industry, Jon Kyong, Vice-Chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, officials concerned, officials of exhibitor-units, teachers, researchers and technicians, the delegation of the DPRK-Russia IT goods exhibition headed by Andrei Zarenin, Vice-Minister of Digital Development, Communications and the Mass Media of the Russian Federation, Alexandr Matsegora, Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy.
Ju Yong Il made a closing address, which was followed by Vice-Minister Andrei Zarenin.
Then, a certificate of participation in the exhibition was awarded to the members of the Russian side in the name of the Communications and Information Technology and Digital Development Subcommittee of the Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation.
