A rich harvest was reaped at the raw material bases throughout the country thanks to the efforts for creating raw material bases and revitalizing their operation in all cities and counties this year, the first year of implementing the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy" of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Now harvesting and threshing are promoted at the final stage at tens of thousand hectares of raw material bases including more than 13,000 hectares of newly-created ones across the country.
The unit-area yield increased at the raw material stations in 20 cities and counties where modern regional-industry factories would be built this year.
Other cities and counties acquired a lot of new land for cultivation and increased its fertility.
