Engine Repair Hastened

Last September, the crew of the "Naeyon 602" of the Pyongyang Service Brigade of Engine, stopped at a station because something went wrong with the engine during operation.

They found out the problem soon but they got bewildered.

They didn’t have accessories with which to repair the engine.

At that moment, Ri Song Phyo, an engine driver, and the crew who entered the station yard after materials transportation approached them.

They unhesitatingly handed over their accessories to them.

But the crew of the "Naeyon 602" couldn’t receive them.

Actually, Ri and the crew had secured the accessories with care for their engine which they regarded as a part of their bodies.

However, Ri said with a smile on his face that if they thought of themselves first, the country couldn’t make rapid progress.

Thanks to sincerity of Ri and all the other members of the operation battalion, the crew of the "Naeyon 602" could finish the repair of the engine in a short time.

It was an achievement made by the noble collectivist spirit of those who think of the comrades, the collective and the country first and are eager to become feats of performers all together on the road of patriotism.

Midnight Consultation

One day last January, officials of the North Hwanghae Provincial Posts and Telecommunications Management Bureau held a consultative meeting late at night.

Its agenda was to find out a solution to the equipment of the Sariwon Orphanage which had run out of order.

In fact, they have taken good care of the orphans of the orphanage for several years.

That day, too, they visited the orphans with materials for them.

Learning in detail about what they could do for the orphans, they found out an abnormality had occurred to a piece of equipment installed in a corridor.

A few days after the consultative meeting, a new piece of equipment secured by their sincere efforts was immediately installed at the orphanage.

They learned about the operation of the equipment whenever they visited the orphanage.

Looking at them, the officials and teachers of the orphanage made up their minds to bring up the orphans to be future pillars.

With Single Mind

The following happened at Iap Farm, Jungsan County in October.

An official of the farm, who was going to a field for harvesting situation carried out for a day, met a person coming busily with something in the dark.

He was a member of the mobile repair team.

Before the official asked him why, he said that a tractor, which had been operating without a hitch, had stopped suddenly. Holding in his hand were accessories of the tractor.

When the former persuaded the latter to take a rest that night and repair the tractor early the next morning while worrying about the latter who worked all day long, the latter said that he could not do so because the mobile repair team took the whole responsibility for repairing farm machines, running along the road.

The former was moved by the latter’s ardent mind striving day and night for repairing the farm machines.

Thus, the latter, too, buckled down to the work for repairing the tractor with members of the mobile repair team.

Then, after a while, the members of mechanized work-team and skilled workers of repair sub-workteam also joined them with necessary accessories.

Thanks to their painstaking efforts, the tractor could be repaired that day, concluding the harvesting and threshing in a short period.

Delight of Comrades Is Just My Pleasure

Not long ago, Kim Pok Hwa, a worker of the Tongdaewon District General Restaurant, visited the houses of Pak Chon Song and Sin Ju Hyok who had rushed to the flood-hit areas in Jagang Province. There was a story about his visit to the houses of combatants of the Party regiment.

Several days ago, Kim and other employees of the restaurant received a letter from Pak and Sin.

Seeing their letter, Kim could hardly repress her emotion.

In the letter Pak and Sin said that they came to know well how great the trust and expectation of the collective are after receiving from comrades letters of sympathy and aid materials with their sincerity, expressing their determination to work well.

Kim, who was thinking intensely what she would do more for them working day and night for realizing the Party’s far-reaching plan into a brilliant reality as soon as possible, decided to take care of their family affairs lest their family members feel inconvenience.

Thus Kim visited their houses to learn about in detail the health and living conditions of their family members and help.

Being informed of such fact, Pak and Sin conveyed their gratitude to Kim.

At that time she said as follows:

Delight of comrades is just my pleasure. I hope you would make a report of completion to the Party as soon as possible without worry about household cares.
