Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the power transmission and distribution sector of the DPRK strive to produce means necessary for ensuring the electricity supply in a stable and rational way.
The Ministry of Electric Power Industry established a cost-saving plated ware production process for ultra-high voltage transmission line tower.
It also established an efficient lightening conductor production process in a short span of time in cooperation with workers and technicians at the North Hwanghae Provincial Power Transmission and Distribution Station.
The work for installing the lightening conductors at major steel towers has been pushed forward to improve the stability of electric power supply.
The Kyongsong Electric Appliances Factory has striven to produce insulators needed for transmission of ultra-high voltage electricity.
Meanwhile, efforts are made to speed up the technical updating of industrial establishments in the power transmission and distribution field and increase the productivity of various electric equipment and accessories. -0-
