China Rebuffs West Report on China’s Spying Activities

The “Wall Street Journal” recently commented that the Western intelligence services have no control over China’s spying activities which are being conducted on a scale never seen before. In this regard, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China said as follows, putting a question as to whether this report does bear any factual evidence:

Some Western media are circulating lies which are made up to depict China as conducting spy activities for some time.

But they are just hyping with groundless speculation and there is no hard evidence at all.

The CIA, for a long time, has used all sorts of despicable means to steal secret information from other countries, interfere in others’ internal affairs and overthrow governments of other countries, revealed the spokesperson.

The spokesperson continued to say that the U.S. has tapped and stolen secrets from its allies for a long time on a large scale and never let up spying activities against China.

The U.S. is incriminating other countries as “threats of espionage” without any reason even though it is openly carrying out spying activities in the world.

He also said that it is a case of turning black into white and the guilty party filing the suit first.

The spokesperson concluded by stressing that the U.S. should immediately put right its wrong trick and stop putting false incrimination on others, thus it should no longer throw the world into greater confusion.
