One day in October 2020, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the site of the reconstruction of flood-hit areas in Kimhwa County, Kangwon Province, the DPRK.
Going round the construction site, he repeatedly asked a senior official of the county whether the people in the county like, saying that there is nothing more to want as they all like.
He said that to feel something wanting while seeing the newly built houses in the flood-hit areas is that the houses were designed on a certain criteria and it would be better when the originality was granted and artistic harmony with surrounding environment and diversity were properly combined on the principle of ensuring the excellent culture of the region the characteristics of topography and the convenience and demand of the people.
After a while, Kim Jong Un said that the construction of the country should steadily develop, stressing that we should put forward it as the main component and core to conduct the regional construction in the future in a non-repetitive way and with good environment, taking into account the characteristics of the relevant areas.
Looking up to the respected General Secretary, who is leading the regional construction to create everything in a fresh way as required by the times, the officials were deeply impressed. -0-
