DPRK Newspapers Mark Mother's Day

Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- DPRK leading newspapers dedicate editorials to Mother's Day on Nov. 16. This day, all the sons and daughters of the country extend warm congratulations and thanks to the mothers, who are beautifully cultivating the future of the country with love and devotion, with reverence for them, say papers. The mothers, who are providing the rosy future of a powerful country while devoting themselves to bolstering up the national power and adding fresh beauty to the whole society, are the great strength of the Workers' Party of Korea and the high pride and honor of all the sons and daughters in the country, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on: The history of the DPRK's growth and development has recorded the devoted efforts of the mothers who overcame all sorts of difficulties and hardships with laughter, regarding their trouble as pleasure to remain faithful to the revolution, loyal to their families and upright to their children. Families associated with the affection of mothers have firmly supported the country as cornerstone, and their selfless sincerity and devotion have served as nutritious matter for the great socialist family advancing in unity. The mothers' spirit is strong and their spiritual world is noble, so the true nature of Korean-style socialism remains unchanged, and the pace of the country’s advance is growing longer as mothers are advancing, rallied firmly with patriotism. Thanks to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, the future of our cause of holding dear and prioritizing the posterity representing the future of the country and the mothers is brighter and the day is approaching when the DPRK will demonstrate its dignity as the best paradise where the mothers' centuries-old dreams and ideals have been realized before anything else. Minju Joson says that as we hold the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the father of the great socialist family, the life of devotion of mothers is shining with the most sacred and precious call of communist mother, like the heroes who devoted themselves to the country.
