A meeting took place on Monday to mark the 10th anniversary of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un’s field guidance at the Korea April 26 Animation Studio.
His field guidance was a historic event that ushered in a new heyday of Korean-style animation production and helped its creators and artistes break with triteness and formulism and make a U-turn in their work.
Ho Yong Chol, director of the studio, made a report at the meeting.
He said that the General Secretary indicated the tasks and ways for producing more animations of high cognitional and educational significance, including animations dealing with history and common sense, and showed warm benevolence for creators and artistes.
He noted that the officials, creators and artistes of the studio have dedicated themselves to the production of animations conducive to the cultural and emotional life of all the people, young or old, encouraged by the trust and benevolence of the Party, for the past decade.
He called on them to work harder to produce more excellent animations favored by the people.
