The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex is now seething with the project for putting the production processes on the Juche basis.
According to data available, in the wake of kindling in the new type of energy-saving oxygen blast furnace for drying and systematic trial operation of several times, no-load general test operation was successfully conducted.
And preparations for normalizing the oxygen production of the newly-installed large oxygen separator including the installation of air compressor are also being pushed forward in a three-dimensional way.
After setting the goal for turning out the first molten iron from the energy-saving oxygen blast furnace this year, the Party guidance team, the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, the North Hwanghae Provincial Party Committee and the Songrim City Party Committee conduct scientific operation and command for realizing it.
The complex formed an operation team for successfully ensuring the general trial run with able technical officials, technicians and skilled workers headed by the chief engineer of the complex.
While conducting the systematic trial operation on a regular basis, it takes a measure beforehand to prevent any shortcomings that can hinder the general test run. In particular, it is directing efforts to improving the quality and quantity of oxygen production, a key factor in the operation of the furnace.
Workers of the complex are striving for solving in advance the problems to be arisen during the general trial run.
They are carrying on in a qualitative way the installation of air compressor by introducing efficient working methods and rational assembling methods together with skilled workers and technicians of various units including the Ryongsong Machine Complex to provide favorable condition for testing the large oxygen separator in the near future.
Technical forces of the complex and various scientific research groups are making strenuous efforts to put forward valuable proposals and finishing up the elements of each system in a more qualitative way.
