Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) – Landscaping is progressing apace at newly-built modern farm villages in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK.
As a result, tens of thousands of trees of over 20 species were planted in the new rural villages in November alone.
Kangso District planted thousands of trees including ginkgo trees and white birches and various kinds of turfs at parks and around the apartment houses and roads of the new farm villages.
Working people in Chollima and Taean districts pushed ahead with the landscaping in a qualitative way while strictly meeting the technical requirements for tree planting.
Onchon and Ryonggang counties planted apple, pear and other fruit trees according to the process in a responsible manner to raise the survival rate of saplings.
Owners of the new houses are cultivating the trees in a scientific and technological way. -0-
