Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) -- The DPRK's U-20 and U-17 women football teams won four trophies in the international games this year. These successes are amazing the football world.
The DPRK women's football teams have won U-20 and U-17 Women's World Cups three times respectively, which showed the status of the DPRK women's football rapidly rising to the top of the world.
The DPRK U-20 and U-17 women's football teams won the Third FIFA U-20 Women's World Championships in 2006 and the First FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in 2008. They also won FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup and FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup held in 2016 and 2024.
So the DPRK U-20 women's football team has became one of the three strong teams which won the World Cup three times in the history of the World Cup, and the DPRK U-17 women's football team the strongest team that won the World Cup three times for the first time.
