Chairman Kim Jong Il remembered abroad
Meetings for cherishing the memory of the great leader Kim Jong Il, seminars on his exploits, lectures, round-table talks, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Myanmar, Iran, Kuwait, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic and Tanzania between November 21 and December 8 on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of his demise.
Present at the events were political and public figures and other people of those countries.
Screened at the film shows were Korean documentaries on the immortal revolutionary life and exploits of Kim Jong Il and video programs showing the proud reality of Juche Korea opening a new era of overall national prosperity.
Speeches were made at the events.
The speakers said the distinguished exploits of His Excellency Kim Jong Il, who firmly defended the sovereignty of the country, destiny of the people and peace and security of the Korean peninsula, are kept deep in the minds of the Korean people and the world progressive humanity.
They stressed that today the Korean people are achieving many successes in increasing the self-reliant defence capabilities and in the economic construction, single-heartedly united around General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
