Ardent yearning for Chairman Kim Jong Il pervades DPRK in December The entire Koren people cherished the memory of the great leader Kim Jong Il, the peerless patriot and great sage of the revolution, with the humblest reverence on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of his demise.

Officials, working people, officers and men of the People's Army and youth and students laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers before the bronze statues of the great leaders and their mosaic murals in different parts of the country including Mansu Hill.

The officials, working people, service personnel of the People's Army and youth and students across the country watched documentaries showing the greatness and noble moral traits of Kim Jong Il.

They hardened their firm will to hold him in high esteem forever and implement the plans and policies of the Workers' Party of Korea to the end.

Meetings of working people to hear stories about the great virtue of Kim Jong Il were held at the Central Hall of Workers, the Central Youth Hall and the Hall of Women in praise of his noble life and immortal exploits.

Speakers at the meetings spoke highly of the uncommon greatness of Kim Jong Il, the sagacious leader and benevolent father who led the revolution and construction to constant leap forward, traversing the long and thorny path in the van for the country and people all his life.
