Students at Phyongsong Foreign Languages School have won a series of nationwide foreign languages dialogue contests this year.
The credit goes to section chief Kim Kyong Ro.

Learning a foreign language requires high accuracy in all aspects of reading, writing, listening and speaking.
What matters particularly in dialogue is pronunciation.
Kim directs efforts to the afternoon extracurricular group activities so that students can have a correct understanding of how to pronounce foreign words they learned in lessons.
On the other hand, he works to help his section teachers build up their teaching capacity.
He holds sessions for introducing new methods, sharing experience and discussing teaching skills and organizes class inspections in a planned and methodological way, and encourages the teachers to broaden their horizons from their major to other fields of politics, the economy and culture.
As a result, new teaching methods have been created in his section, and many of its teachers honoured with the title of October 8 Model Teacher.
This leads to the improvement of students' performance.
An increasing number of students have proved themselves at monthly academic contests and foreign languages dialogue and presentation contests and at various national events. Among them are winners of the July 15 Honour Student Prize.
