Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Flood victims from North Phyongan, Jagang and Ryanggang provinces of the DPRK came to Pyongyang under the loving care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who spares nothing for relieving the people of pain, and spent their dreamy sojourn in Pyongyang. In those days, their emotional voices were admired by all people across the country. 130 day-long sojourn the flood victims spent in Pyongyang under the warm care of the Party and the state were the days and months of love that started and continued by the ardent devotion of Kim Jong Un, who regards it as the most important affair that can not be delayed even for a moment to relieve the people of pain and misfortune at an early date, and a significant period that instilled into all the people the faith that our leader, our Party and our socialist system are the best. Kim Jong Un, who is standing against any challenges for the sake of the beloved people and future, miraculously saved the flood victims who were at the crossroads of life and death due to the severe natural disaster and made sure that the Party and the government bear the full responsibility for them and take care of them with utmost sincerity. He convened the 22nd emergency enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea on train and set forth important tasks and ways for recovering from damage as soon as possible. Then, he went round the makeshift tents, in which the flood victims were living temporarily, in the sweltering hot weather and took a special measure so that the children, students, the elderly and others from the flood-hit areas were under the state protection in the capital city Pyongyang without any worries in the rehabilitation period. Under his boundless loving care, more than 13,000 inhabitants and students from the flood-hit areas enjoyed the highest glory, happiness and civilization in the capital city while receiving a special favor and privilege. The first day of the flood victims' sojourn in Pyongyang started under the loving care and solicitude of the benevolent father. He warmly greeted the flood victims at lodging quarters in Pyongyang on August 15. He in a significant welcome speech full of kindred feelings affirmed that the highest sincerity would be offered to them with the meticulous attention to their health and comfort as absolute criteria, hoping that all of them would have an unforgettable and significant time while staying in the capital city of their beloved motherland. The inhabitants from the flood-hit areas enjoyed their cultural and emotional life to their heart's content under the loving care of Kim Jong Un who personally worked out the itinerary and took benevolent measures so that they spend pleasant and memorable days during their stay in Pyongyang. Pupils and students from the flood-hit areas brought into full bloom their dreams of learning in Pyongyang. From the very day of the disaster, he made sure that an emergency system was put in place to make the students and all other children from flood-hit areas stay in Pyongyang and be provided with a safe and comfortable environment for care and education, entirely at state expense. He saw to it that they received education without cease after vacation. He visited the April 25 Hostel on August 16 to watch a demonstration lesson for a class of primary school pupils, which was organized as part of the preparations for new-term teaching of the pupils, and acquainted himself in detail with the provision of educational equipment and school fixtures. The measures for provisional education of children and students from the flood-hit areas in the environment of rehabilitation campaign were another important step of loving care to be taken by only Kim Jong Un who regards the issue of caring and educating the children and students as the primary state affair which could never be given up even if the sky may fall in. Students with disabilities were also treated at central hospitals in Pyongyang and went to school in a bright and cheerful manner. The primary schoolchildren from the flood-hit areas competed with those in the capital city, and several students of senior middle school class took part in the examination for entrance to Kim Il Sung University and Kim Chaek University of Technology and over 70 percent of students grew to be A ones. Bondless was the warm love of the father with the dreamy days and months passing. Kim Jong Un sent the 70th and 80th birthday spreads to the elderly and first birthday spreads to babies though they enjoyed special favor to be envied by the world. Deeply moved by his warm affection, the inhabitants and schoolchildren from the flood-hit areas expressed gratitude to him, saying that their father is Marshal Kim Jong Un and their home is the embrace of the Party. During their significant stay, the flood victims were deeply moved by the sincerity and devotion of the members of mobile educational, medical and service teams, service personnel in the field of military medicine of the Korean People's Army and officials and employees of the hostel, and by the cordial hospitality of Pyongyangites who greeted them as honored guests at the Okryu Restaurant, Chongryu Restaurant, Pyongyang Noodle House, Chongryu and Changgwang health complexes, etc. They keenly felt that they could not live even a moment without the great socialist family which is harmonious with virtue and affection, holding Kim Jong Un as their father. The people in the afflicted areas are filled with the ardent desire to turn their radically changed native villages into places good to live in by reaping rich harvest and thus repay the great benevolence generation after generation, always keeping in mind the honor and happiness provided by the devotion of the great father and devoting all their loyalty and patriotic enthusiasm.
