Congratulations to President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un from Russian President
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a congratulatory letter from Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on the 17th.
The letter extended the most heartfelt New Year greetings to Kim Jong Un and said:
The talks between us held in Pyongyang in June put the Russia-DPRK relations on a new qualitative level. The Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership concluded according to the result of the talks provided conditions for fundamentally expanding the reciprocal bilateral cooperation in all major fields.
I firmly believe that in the coming year 2025 we will continue very closely the common work for implementing the historic treaty and make more concerted efforts to cope with the threats and challenges of the present times. This surely accords with the fundamental interests of the peoples of the friendly Russian Federation and the DPRK.
The letter wished Kim Jong Un and his friends good health, happiness and success and all the citizens of the DPRK welfare and prosperity.
