Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned the West and Ukraine against testing his country’s patience in a 1TV programme on December 25.
Noting that the Ukrainian authorities are constantly clinging to terrorist acts while deliberately attacking dwelling houses, hospitals, clinics, shops and mass gathering and rest places, he stated that they will receive a strong counterstrike in case they continue to advocate such a line.
The West and the Kiev authorities are now clamouring for a ceasefire, but it is aimed at getting the Kiev authorities to build up strength again with the help of the West and then launch into the implementation of instruction of their masters on dealing a strategic defeat to Russia, he exposed.
Russia does not want to be bent on the issue of using nuclear weapons, but we advise everybody to refrain from testing our great patience and the determination to defend the country’s legitimate interests by mobilizing all its means, he noted.
