Pyongyang, January 8 (KCNA) -- Regional-industry factories in Jaeryong County of the DPRK were inaugurated, significantly decorating the outset of 2025, a year of great turn for raising the overall development of socialism onto a higher stage, true to the idea and spirit of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The inauguration of modern regional-industry factories built in Jaeryong Namuri Plain, a granary in the western area of the DPRK, bringing about a rare change of regional rejuvenation, is a powerful proof of the unshakable will and executive power of the great Party Central Committee which has launched the great historic cause for realizing the centuries-old desire of the regional people and is unconditionally keeping a promise with them, and a great inspiring event foreseeing a dynamic progress and miraculous successes.

The venue of the ceremony was full of the great pride of the soldier-builders who have wonderfully built the regional-industry factories into precious entities of our Party’s people-first politics and the crystallization of their pure conscience as servants of the people in the steadfast spirit of defending the Party’s policies and through their devoted practices and of the great excitement and joy of the people in Jaeryong County who will enjoy a new civilized life to their heart's content under the care of the Party.

When Kim Jong Un arrived at the venue of the ceremony, all the participants raised enthusiastic cheers, extending the greatest glory and respect to the outstanding leader and the great father who opened up a new era in which the whole of the country develops all at once, provided a springboard of dynamic advance and upswing of the DPRK and has led the sacred cause for changes in the vanguard with his outstanding ideology and theory and rare leadership ability.

Present at the ceremony were Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, and other senior officials of the Party and the government, service personnel involved in the construction, officials and employees of the regional-industry factories, officials and working people in South Hwanghae Province and Jaeryong County.

The speaker said that he was very excited to greet the significant New Year with the inauguration of such modern regional-industry factories, adding that it is a great revolution which can be made only by Kim Jong Un that the overall development of the regions which had been an ideal for nearly 80 years was adopted as the most important political task of the Party and the state and its brilliant entities have been completed that year.

He said that if anyone goes round the regional-industry factories to which modernity, civilization and profitability are applied, he or she would bear deep in mind the great efforts of Kim Jong Un who is devoting his all to bringing about changes that reach the regional people actually and that will be cheered by them, and would be convinced of the future of the regional changes to be brought about in a larger scale under his great care.

Today’s grand inauguration is a proud success of the regional-industry revolution and, at the same time, a springboard of a new struggle and a cornerstone for greater and higher and more dynamic progress, he said, adding that this important event welcomed by all people across the country should surely be led to perfect results every year regardless of conditions.

Saying that the great cause of regional rejuvenation shouldered by the Party is a science, practice and victory, he called for working harder for brilliantly accomplishing the Party's policy on regional development and bringing earlier the future of a rich, civilized, prosperous and powerful country by redoubling confidence and courage.

All the participants extended profound gratitude to the benevolent leader of the people who sets it as his lifelong mission and the most important work for the Party and the state to promote the people's happiness and well-being and translates into a reality a socialist paradise in which all the people would enjoy happiness and an overall efflorescence for national rejuvenation.

Noting that it is a great auspicious event of the whole country which gives great pleasure to the people who start the worthwhile journey in the new year that the inauguration ceremonies for the regional-industry factories take place one after another in 20 cities and counties including Songchon and Jaeryong counties as a fruition of sincere efforts rendered for the people last year, he said he feels greater pride in making a revolution and struggling as he saw the people of the region full of excitement and joy like today and that it makes him determine more firmly to find more jobs for the people and carry them out.

Watching the trial products, he set forth principles and ways to be consistently adhered to in operation and production of the regional-industry factories and discussed with senior officials accompanying him a series of measures to be taken by the Party and the government for leading and powerfully supporting this work in a sustained way in order to guarantee the long-term development of regional industry.

He repeatedly stressed the need for the Party and power organs in cities and counties to always pay deep attention to providing conditions necessary for normalizing production at the regional-industry factories including the issues of providing raw materials and training skilled workers and put them into practice unconditionally so that the new regional development policy of the WPK would make a substantial contribution to promoting the material well-being of the inhabitants in the relevant regions.

He affirmed that he would make this year a year of another upsurge in regional construction by setting a higher standard as a goal on the basis of last year's successes and ensuring the economic profitability, effectiveness and prospectiveness to the maximum.
