Pyongyang, January 8 (KCNA) -- Schoolchildren's New Year performance, "The most joyful day", continued at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace here. Put on the stage were colorful numbers such as folk dances and Janggu presentation. The performers represented the joy of greeting the happy New Year's Day, holding the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the father of the country, a large family. The joy and optimism of schoolchildren, who have spent the happy days and months under the loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea, were shown through such numbers as light music. Korean schoolchildren in Japan, who met Kim Jong Un and had the honor to be remembered forever, gave the dance story "We grow under the national flag of the Republic" with the determination to give steadfast continuity to the patriotic generation. Their performance was enthusiastically acclaimed by the audience. Working people and school youth and children in Pyongyang enjoyed the New Year performance.
