Pyongyang, January 8 (KCNA) -- Regional-industry factories in Jaeryong County of the DPRK were inaugurated, significantly decorating the outset of 2025, a year of great turn for raising the overall development of socialism onto a higher stage, true to the idea and spirit of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. An inauguration ceremony of regional-industry factories in Jaeryong County for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy took place on January 7. The venue of the ceremony was full of the great pride of the soldier-builders who have wonderfully built the regional-industry factories into precious entities of our Party’s people-first politics and the crystallization of their pure conscience as servants of the people in the steadfast spirit of defending the Party’s policies and through their devoted practices and of the great excitement and joy of the people in Jaeryong County who will enjoy a new civilized life to their heart's content under the care of the Party. The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un attended the ceremony. When Kim Jong Un arrived at the venue of the ceremony, all the participants raised enthusiastic cheers, extending the greatest glory and respect to the outstanding leader and the great father who opened up a new era in which the whole of the country develops all at once, provided a springboard of dynamic advance and upswing of the DPRK and has led the sacred cause for changes in the vanguard with his outstanding ideology and theory and rare leadership ability. The speaker said that he was very excited to greet the significant New Year with the inauguration of such modern regional-industry factories, adding that it is a great revolution which can be made only by Kim Jong Un that the overall development of the regions which had been an ideal for nearly 80 years was adopted as the most important political task of the Party and the state and its brilliant entities have been completed that year.
