Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- The Ryugyong Mushroom Farm in the DPRK is a modern mushroom producer where production method is put on an industrial and intensive basis and all conditions necessary for mushroom cultivation are provided.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the newly-built Ryugyong Mushroom Farm on January 9, 2015 and indicated the detailed tasks and ways for putting the mushroom production on a higher scientific, intensive and industrial basis.
Over the past 10 years, officials and employees of the farm have devoted all their wisdom and zeal so as to produce and supply tasty and nutritious mushrooms to the citizens of the capital city.
The farm introduced substitute substrate to put the nutritious mushroom production on a normal basis while reusing waste substrate.
It has introduced advanced cultivation experience through technical exchange with mushroom production units and pushed ahead with the work to cultivate new species of mushroom.
It remodeled the sterilizing furnace to decrease its sterilizing time and put the worksite on a germ-free basis. It also increased the productivity by using various nutrients, while ensuring the proper temperature, moisture and ventilation in keeping with species of mushroom and the characteristics of their growth stage.
The farm won the title of the Three-Revolution Red Flag and the Lathe No.26 Model Machine Prize. -0-
