Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place on January 8 to mark the 10th anniversary of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un 's field guidance at the Ryugyong Mushroom Farm.
Present there were Ri Man Song, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal Rural Economy Committee, Ri Un Sok, secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials and employees of the farm.
Manager Ok Song Mun made a report.
The reporter noted that the General Secretary initiated the construction of a modern mushroom farm and solved all problems arising in its construction in order to translate into reality the noble intention of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who made all efforts to turn the country into a country of mushroom.
In January 2015, the General Secretary visited the newly-built farm. Saying that he was very pleased to see a wonderful edifice for the people, he had a significant photo taken with its officials and employees.
Recalling the fact, the reporter called upon the officials and employees of the farm to widely introduce advanced mushroom cultivation methods and techniques and put production on a higher scientific and intensive basis with the pride and honor of working at the glorious worksite associated with the leadership exploits of the Party and thus further increase the mushroom production.
He stressed that all the officials and employees should wage a dynamic drive for increased production to implement the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK, true to the General Secretary’s ideas and leadership, and thus make a tangible contribution to the improvement of the people's living standards. -0-
