Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- Officials in the fields of light industry, fishery, commerce, land and environment protection and urban management of the DPRK are working hard to promote the people's well-being and provide them with more affluent and civilized living conditions and environment.
The light industrial sector set it as the primary task to improve the quality of products and has discussed the measures for completing the five-year plan, developing new products, expanding capabilities and building new production bases.
The fishery sector is seeking practical ways to increase the production of seafood by consolidating the material and technical foundations and directing efforts to fish farming and aquaculture.
The commercial sector is focusing on taking measures to preserve the nature of socialist commerce and offer the conveniences to the people.
The field of land and environment protection is conducting the study and discussion for promoting the work to minimize flood damage and improving the country's forest ecological environment.
