Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors.
Looking round the hydraulic apparatus workshop and the Ragwon Oxygen Separator Plant of the Ragwon General Machine Enterprise, he encouraged the officials, workers and technicians who turned out in the campaign for increased production and the economy drive to carry out the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee.
At the Sinuiju Chemical Fibre Mill, he learned about the installation of new equipment and called for finishing the construction at an early date by generalizing the successes and experiences gained in the remodelling project.
The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed the issues concerned and took relevant measures.
Meanwhile, Premier Pak visited the construction headquarters of 50,000 flats in Pyongyang Municipality and stressed the need to push ahead in a foresighted way with the preparations for the inauguration of third-stage 10,000 flats in the Hwasong area while checking if there aren't any shortcomings in the project nearing completion.
