Pyongyang, January 18 (KCNA) -- The art squad of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League in the DPRK gave a performance "Country and Youth" at the Central Youth Hall on Friday to mark the 79th founding anniversary of the SPYL.
Among the audience were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the SPYL Central Committee, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang.
Put on the performance stage were colorful numbers reflecting the proud history of the Juche-oriented youth movement, which has been developed under the leadership of the WPK, and the noble spiritual world of patriotic youths who have dynamically advanced the country in the annals of the revolution.
The performers well represented the boundless pride and honor of glorifying their worthwhile life as successors to the revolution and masters of the times under the care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un , who put forward the young people as the vanguard in building a powerful country and has shown deep trust and love for them.
The strong stamina of the young vanguard, who will perform fresh miracles and feats at every worksite for a great upsurge in socialist construction, bearing deep in mind the idea and spirit of the historic Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth WPK Central Committee, was fully demonstrated through male quartet "We Are Koreans" and other numbers.
Also put on the stage full of youthful stamina and enthusiasm was the song "Song about Country" reflecting the ardent desire and will of the rising generation to glorify their beloved motherland with their whole soul.
The performance ended with a chorus "National Anthem of DPRK". -0-
